Arcata Interfaith Gospel Choir Change 4 Change

The Arcata Interfaith Gospel Choir (AIGC) was founded with the mission to inspire faith, hope, love, unity and joy through Black Gospel music. The choir seeks to exemplify the principles of peace, equality, unity and cooperation through multi-faith and multiracial choir membership. The AIGC performs at community events, such as the annual NAACP and Arcata Parks & Rec Martin Luther King, Jr. Day events, Creamery District Festival and the North Country Fair. AIGC has recently performed free of charge at fundraising benefits for Betty Chinn’s Mission, Arcata Presbyterian Church Fire Relief Benefit, Brothers United at HSU, Dell’Arte’s Puerto Rico hurricane relief benefit, and the Josiah Lawson Memorial, among others. The choir performs regularly at various churches, private memorial services and for inmates at the Humboldt County Jail. Performances strive to share inspiring music that lifts spirits and promotes community unity and understanding.
